Adam Ray says he is on Netflix Friday with Adam DeVine

Another Netflix drop from Ray, this time with the Workaholics guy tagged in.

Adam Ray is back on Netflix on Friday, and he is bringing Adam DeVine.

Ray posted the news himself, tagging @ADAMDEVINE and @NetflixIsAJoke with three fire emojis and not much else. No title, no format, no runtime. Just a Friday and two Adams.

That is the whole post, and it is worth taking at face value only as far as it goes. Ray says Friday. Ray says Netflix. Ray says DeVine. Everything past that is guesswork, and Ray has not filled it in yet.

It lands on a run

This is not a one off drop. Ray has been stacking Netflix posts for weeks. The most recent was the new Adam Ray Show with the Winklers, which he teased with the line that Bruce Robbins meets Henry Winkler, and which went up on Netflix the day after he posted it.

Bruce Robbins is Ray's character, and watching him work against the actual Fonz was the sell on that one. Ray tagged Winkler directly in the announcement, so the whole thing read as a bit the guest was fully in on.

The real story

Ray is in the middle of the most visible stretch of his career and he is announcing it one tweet at a time. The Winkler episode, now DeVine, all under the Netflix Is A Joke banner, all teased the same way, with a date and a tag and a wall of emojis. It is a comedian with a platform releasing enough material that the announcements have started to blur together, which is a good problem.

If you want the Winkler one, it is already up. The DeVine one arrives Friday. Ray has given no indication of what it is beyond that, so the only move is to look on Friday and find out.
