Kill Tony is back tonight. @redban posted that @TonyHinchcliffe and @redban are joined by the regulars and the band for a brand new episode, with @HARLANDHIGHWAY and @jeremiahstandup as the special guests. Start time is 8PM CST.
That is the whole pitch, and with Kill Tony it usually is. The format does the heavy lifting, so the only real variable each week is who is sitting in the guest chairs, and this week it is two names the audience already knows from elsewhere in the podcast world.
What else was on the schedule
Earlier in the week Legion of Skanks ran its own episode with @robertkelly and @Mrjimflorentine, and the show billed it in a way that had nothing to do with either of their names. The post promised that Carrot Top FACES OFF with Steve Rannazzisi, complete with a football emoji. Nobody should take that literally. It is the Skanks doing what the Skanks do with a guest announcement, which is to announce something other than the guests.

The real story
Two shows, two very different ways of selling the same thing. Kill Tony puts the names up clean, in caps, with a time and a link, because the show is the draw and the guests are the bonus. Legion of Skanks takes a guest announcement and turns it into a bit before anyone has recorded a minute, betting that the joke sells the episode harder than the booking does.
