Legion of Skanks stacks a full day of 9-11 episodes
A new episode, a Friday Night Hang, and a fan made rollerblade game all landed the same day.
Legion of Skanks ran the whole day. The show posted a clip from episode 783 with Ari Shaffir and Colum Tyrrell, built around a 9-11 play, available on GaS Digital with promo code LOS. Then came the main event.
An all new episode premiered on YouTube at 2pm Eastern, with Colum Tyrrell and Tristan Bowling joining Big Jay Oakerson, Luis J. Gomez and Steve Rannazzisi. The show teased it as Steve Rannazzisi's 9-11 Redemption, with a question mark, which tells you roughly how the bit goes. Gomez also premiered a new video on his own YouTube channel, and Legion of Skanks announced an all new Friday Night Hang with Oakerson, Gomez and Rannazzisi for 8pm Eastern on GaS Digital.

Gomez capped it with a post declaring the show will always be the funniest podcast on the planet, hashtag neverforget. That is the house style, not a poll result. Nobody in the Skanks orbit has ever undersold the Skanks.
A fan turned the rollerblade story into a game
The other thing that landed was not from the show at all. @teedonx, posting as US Meme Corp, built Blades of Melted Steel, a free browser game based on Gomez's rollerblade story. The goal is to get him from the Chelsea to Jersey. Gomez has a health bar in it. It is an unofficial fan game, and the account says follow along for memes and updates.
Gomez saw it and replied to say he followed the account for it, which is about as warm a review as an unlicensed piece of fan software gets.
The read here is simple. The Skanks put out three separate pieces of content in one day, all pinned to the same date, and the thing a fan cared enough to spend hours building was not any of them. It was Gomez telling a story about rollerblading. That is usually how it goes with this show. The planned material is the planned material, and then one unhinged personal anecdote takes over the week.
