Luis J. Gomez says lawyers told him not to talk about a lawsuit

He named no one, gave no detail, and said talking about it is the only thing he wants to do.

Luis J. Gomez has a lawsuit, and that is about all he is allowed to say. On Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast Ep 643, titled Luis Jobs Gomez, Gomez told Matt McCusker and Shane Gillis that he cannot get into it until his lawyers give him the go ahead. No names, no target, no detail. Asked how badly he wanted to spill it, he said talking about it is all he wants to do.

That is the whole of it for now, and it is the first time Gomez has pointed at anything legal after a stretch of vague incident talk, including the earlier Legion of Skanks episode built around an incident outside the Gas Digital studio.

The rest of the episode is pure Skankfest prep

Gomez also laid out his physical challenges for the festival. He says he is boxing CJ Bishop, a comedian from Canada, with stakes attached. If Gomez stops him, Bishop has to do the naked roast on Friday night. He also recapped a basketball challenge against Gillis that ended 11 to nothing, which he lost again.

On the lineup, Gomez rattled off Eric Andre for the first time, Christina P for the first time, Norton coming back, plus Mark Normand and Joe List.

Steve Jobs, and a lot of tattoos

The episode title is not a bit. Gomez went deep on his Steve Jobs obsession, including a memorial tattoo of an Apple computer that says goodbye, a dog named Apple, and a Steve Jobs quote hanging over his bed. He also admitted he started following Jobs's daughter Eve Jobs to creep on her, which he said out loud, on a podcast, on purpose.

The tattoo tour kept going. There is the King of Clubs piece he got while promoting comedy clubs, and the Legion of Skanks tattoo built on the idea that the three of them are in it for life, which Gomez noted is complicated by the fact that one of them left. Gillis said he was in line at the first Skankfest ready to get the same tattoo before two guys in line talked him out of it.

Guest Colum Tyrrell was there to promote his new special, Bells and Whistles, which he said is on his YouTube now.

As for the lawsuit, the reader should treat it exactly as Gomez framed it. He has one, he cannot discuss it, and he is clearly itching to.
