Pauly Shore confronts Bobby Lee over Comedy Store intro
Shore's third TigerBelly visit opened with a grievance and closed with a health scare.
Pauly Shore spent his third TigerBelly appearance in six years telling Bobby Lee to his face that Lee gave him the worst intro of his career. It happened on stage at the Comedy Store. According to the episode, Lee's intro included the line that Shore has changed, that he is a piece of something unprintable, and that he is a dick now.
Shore did not let it sit. He brought up a trip to Edmonton with Nick Schwarzenegger, where he says Lee was cold to fans. Lee denies the whole thing happened, and says the timing does not matter because it never happened. Khalyla splits the difference. She says she has seen Lee be very prickly and ill tempered and mean to friends, but not to fans.
The Bad Friends rejection
The other grievance is a booking one. Shore says he asked to come on Bad Friends and got turned down, with Lee telling him backstage that he had nothing to promote. That is the sort of thing that only stings if you are a guy with things to promote, which Shore then listed. His new comedy special airs November 1st on PlayStation 5. His short film Remain Calm with Nick Schwarzenegger got an exclusive with Collider.
The scare
Then the episode turns. Shore says his friend Sam Macaroni died from an aneurysm during sex, which pushed Shore into getting a full body scan. Doctors found what he describes as a little baby sweet pea of a nugget of a tumor on his pancreas. He had surgery at Cedars. They scooped it out, it was benign, and in his words he just got lucky.
That is the whole arc of episode 576. A comic shows up annoyed about an intro, airs it out with the host, gets told by the host's wife that yes, he can be mean, and then explains he spent the recent past getting a growth removed from his pancreas because a friend died. The intro fight is real, but it is also the smaller half of the hour.
The episode also covers Gilbert's amateur MMA debut, which ended in a ref stoppage the room clearly thought was wrong. The argument on the show is that Gilbert went down while mid strike, with his back foot still in the air when the cross landed. He fought a much larger opponent and lasted all three rounds before it was waved off.
The episode is Pauly Shore and The Miracle Scan, TigerBelly 576.

You have nothing to promote.
They scooped it out. They got it... it was benign. So, I just got lucky, dude.
