Tom Segura announces 2027 tour Preposterous

Tom Segura has announced the first leg of his 2027 stand-up tour, Preposterous. Presale tickets go up Wednesday, Sept 30 at 10AM local time with the code TOMMY, and the general on sale follows Friday at 10AM local. Dates and links are in his post.

One wrinkle. The episode description for the new 2 Bears, 1 Cave with Rob Lowe, titled "Tom Cruise Pulled His Own Tooth Out w/ Rob Lowe", says Bert Kreischer announces his 2027 tour Preposterous with presale tickets starting September 30th. Kreischer on the 36-hour panic attack

The part of that episode people will clip has nothing to do with tickets. Kreischer says that toward the end of a production he had what he calls an absolute meltdown with panic attacks, plus a health scare he did not understand. He describes a 36-hour panic attack where he could not yawn, his heart rate was up, and he was sweating and shaking uncontrollably.

His response was to throw exercise at it. He says he got on the treadmill and ran about seven miles, then did 100 pull-ups and 100 squats. What stuck was the line about the drink. He says he was doing all the right things, knew a drink would make it go away, and was furious about suffering for nothing. He did not take one.

Rob Lowe was there to talk about his film, a Sundance comedy he says was shot in 18 days by a first-time director and first-time screenwriter. Lowe says nobody bought it out of Sundance except one tiny company, because a single moment in the movie scared off every big distributor even though they loved it. He calls it super dark and super funny. It is now in limited theatrical release.

So the week gives you two things. A tour to buy tickets for on Wednesday, and a very sober episode of a podcast that is usually anything but.
