Bert Kreischer says Tom Segura looks older than Henry Cavill

A YMH Studios clip turns a bit about movie stars aging into a roast of Kreischer's touring partner.

Bert Kreischer has decided that Tom Segura looks older than Henry Cavill.

That is the punchline of a clip posted by YMH Studios, in which Kreischer starts with a comparison a lot of people have made online, old Hollywood stars at 35 versus today's 35 year olds. Then he narrows the lens until it is pointed at one specific 35 year old adjacent target, his friend and frequent co host Segura, who in Kreischer's telling comes off worse than Cavill and other stars around that age.

The bit

It is a roast, not a medical opinion. The setup does the work, because the moment you put anyone next to Henry Cavill the comparison is already unfair, and that is the joke. Kreischer builds a general observation about how movie stars used to look like grown men at 35 and then uses it as a weapon on someone sitting nearby.

YMH Studios posted the clip itself, which tells you how seriously anyone involved is taking it. The podcast's own account is the one calling it a roast.

Why these two keep doing this

Kreischer and Segura roasting each other's bodies is basically a format at this point. The two of them spent a recent episode of 2 Bears 1 Cave doing exactly that, as covered earlier, so a Cavill comparison is just the same engine running on a different podcast feed.

The detail worth holding onto is that the insult lands harder because it is so specific. Saying a friend looks old is nothing. Saying a friend looks older than a named action star of roughly the same vintage is a line you cannot argue your way out of without sounding like you are arguing.

Segura's response, if there is one, is not in the clip post. Based on their track record, it will arrive, and it will be about Kreischer's body.
