Luis J. Gomez watched 3 hours of H3 clips, found nothing
The Legion of Skanks host put a number on his homework and the number was zero.
Luis J. Gomez has a review of H3, and he did the viewing to back it up. He posted that he has watched roughly three hours of H3 clips and came away with nothing. His verdict was that the show is uninteresting, and he was specific about how little landed.
"I've watched probably 3 hours of h3 clips at this point," he wrote. "What an uninteresting show. I mean there hasn't been 10 seconds of anything even slightly interesting or funny."
I mean there hasn’t been 10 seconds of anything even slightly interesting or funny.
That is the whole post. No clip attached, no episode named, no particular bit singled out as the offender. Just a man reporting back from a three hour sit and announcing that the yield was zero seconds of comedy.
The flex is the three hours
The insult is not really the word uninteresting. It is the math. Three hours is not a glance at a thumbnail and a scroll past, it is a commitment. Gomez is saying he gave the show more runway than most people give a podcast they like, and still cannot point to ten seconds worth defending. Calling something boring after watching that much of it is a strange flex, and he is clearly aware of it.
There is also no stated reason for the viewing session. Gomez did not say what sent him to the clips, who recommended them, or what he was looking for. He offered the hours and the conclusion and left the rest alone.

So far this is one sided. Nothing has come back from H3, and Gomez has not followed up with a longer explanation or a list of what specifically failed to clear his ten second bar.
Gomez is not short of other things going on. Skankfest X hits New Orleans November 13 to 15, and Story Warz is back at the Comedy Store. The H3 homework appears to have been a personal project.
If a response does arrive, it writes itself. Three hours is a long time to spend on a show you hate, and somebody is going to say so.
