Morril walks through the real texts behind Incorrect
The We Might Be Drunk episode also has a Mark Normand impression, a college party story that ended in the emergency room, and a package from Kevin Spacey.
Sam Morril spent this week's We Might Be Drunk going through the real texts behind his Netflix special Incorrect, with Mark Normand across the table. The episode is called "Two Mark Normands, One Sam Morril no cups", and the Netflix launch section starts at the 11:03 mark if you want to skip straight to it.
The pair also talk road burnout and awkward encounters with fans, which is the version of the job nobody puts in a trailer. The show's own rundown opens with road exhaustion, daycare and drinking flights, then moves to Judah Friedlander and 30 Rock memories before the special comes up. Morril has been posting about Incorrect for weeks, so hearing where the material actually came from is the new part.
Jeremiah Watkins brings the impression and the special
Jeremiah Watkins drops in with his Mark Normand impression and his new special, Crazy Pizza, which is streaming on his YouTube channel. That is the same hour Watkins has been talking up elsewhere, and now it has a plug on Normand's own show from a guy doing Normand's voice back at him. The timestamps list an AI Mark and Sam visiting the podcast at 39:37, so the real ones are outnumbered either way.
Everything else in the 78 minutes
Normand tells a college party story that ended in the emergency room. There are also overpriced cocktails, online shopping peeves, true crime, and a surprise package from Kevin Spacey, listed under fan packages near the end of the episode. In between, the chapter list runs through San Diego food, elevator farts and body hair, drunken confrontations and fighting stories, Japanese bartenders and bedroom gadgets, pet peeves about discounts and tariffs, and Senna, Stockholm and kidnapping stories.
a surprise package from Kevin Spacey
The episode is up now. Tickets for both hosts run through Punchup, and the Bodega Cat update closes it out.
