Luis J. Gomez says he delivered Uber Eats to Peter Thiel

One line, one billionaire customer, and not a word of follow-up from the GaS Digital host.

Luis J. Gomez says he once delivered Uber Eats to Peter Thiel. That is the entire post. One sentence about the drop-off, one sentence about how it makes him feel, and then nothing.

"I delivered Uber Eats to Peter Thiel. I'm elite," he wrote. No photo of the bag. No screenshot of the order. No tip amount, no address, no year, no thread underneath explaining himself. If you want to know what Thiel ordered, Gomez is not telling you.

Why the setup works

The joke is in the second half. A food delivery is the least elite job in America, and Gomez treats one billionaire customer as a promotion. He does not explain it, which is the right call, because the moment you explain it the line stops being funny.

It is also worth taking as a joke rather than a resume update. Gomez is a stand-up and the host of a podcast network, and this is a punchline built on a claim only he can confirm. Nothing in the post is offered as proof, and he clearly is not trying to offer any.

He has been on a run of these

The Thiel line fits the pattern. Gomez has been posting short, single-shot jokes for weeks and letting them sit there without a follow-up, from one line about the Lauren Boebert staffer report to a joke about his dad's blades.

Sometimes the short posts come back on him. He said Enterprise banned him over a cocaine post, which is the sort of outcome that would make most people write longer and safer. It has not slowed him down.

There is no fight here and nobody is responding. Thiel has not said anything about it in the sources, and no other comedian has picked it up. It is one man, one app, and one customer, posted and abandoned.

If you want the longer version of Gomez talking, he does that on the podcasts. On X he apparently prefers to drop a sentence about a billionaire's dinner and walk away.
