Luis Gomez's weed-and-driving thread, Kill Tony is back

Luis Gomez spent a day arguing that daily smokers don't get high, joked he was tweeting from behind the wheel, then swatted a take that Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer are finished.

The big stuff

Luis Gomez says daily smokers don't get high, jokes he's tweeting while driving

Luis Gomez's take is that tolerance varies a lot and a daily smoker does not really get high. Asked about his own record, he said he has not had an accident in almost two years, that weed was never the cause, that it was distracted driving every time, and, in the same breath, that he was driving while typing it. When @joefreeland1971 said two years without a wreck is not a flex and that Luis has had enough accidents to last ten lifetimes, Luis replied with a meme and told him he was getting boring.

Tolerance varies very widely. If you’re a daily smoker, you don’t actually get high.

Luis Gomez swats claim that Segura and Kreischer's careers are over

Paul (@womandefiner) declared Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer's careers over and said it was a decade overdue. Luis Gomez asked how exactly he defines coming to an end, then said he wishes his own career would end like that. Nothing in the sources says anything is actually ending for either guy.

Aaron Berg's TRT half hour leads a busy GaS Digital week

GaS Digital's newest GaS 30 (its half-hour special series) is Aaron Berg's Pro's and Con's of TRT (testosterone replacement therapy), debuting Sept 8 at 7pm EST, which Luis Gomez plugged as dropping Tuesday night. Legion of Skanks also has its End of Summer Games, Tristan Bowling vs. Colum Tyrrell, at 8PM E on the network, plus a clip from episode 416 with Ari Shaffir about Milo Yiannopoulos calling ICE on his neighbor in 2019. Separately, a fan asked why Mike Cannon said on Fart Carnival that GaS wanted Irish Goodbye off the network. Luis said he believes they decided to stop doing the show together, then laid out the rule: every show costs the network money until it hits a threshold, subscribers liked Irish Goodbye so it stayed, but a show that is not tracking gets dropped.

Jeff Dye says his Jesus posts shouldn't surprise anyone

Jeff Dye told people confused by his Jesus posts that it should not surprise them, calling himself a bible thumping sinner hypocrite since fifth grade and saying that if social media is more than jokes, he may as well show what really matters to him. The post landed in the middle of a run of tour plugs, including South Dakota this Sunday.

Tim Dillon asks if you can pay off debt by fighting in Iran

Jim Norton posts a live clip, plugs a December 10 Palm Beach show

Jim Norton posted a live clip and sold it, deadpan, as the improvisational brilliance you get at his shows, adding that tickets are obviously going fast. He also shared a podcast chat about dog shit with his friend Kelssy Cook. And when the Palm Beach Kennel Club posted an ad for his Thursday, December 10 show at The Paddock Restaurant, Norton said it could be his favorite ad of all time. The real story: a comic plugging a show and enjoying the plug more than usual.
