He answered critics with "This is a gay stance," "I'm not friends with women," and a clarification that he is not pro cheating, he just does not consider what another man does with his cock to be his business. Gomez says he is not attacking Jesus, just noting that when someone sends him something bigoted and he clicks their profile, it very often says Christian, and he grew up in the church himself before becoming an atheist. When Nicholas Kramas (@nkramas) said a comic who says shitty things for a living was now offended by someone saying something shitty, Gomez said there is a difference between jokes and going after someone's kid. He also posted a rule that he will not say anything online he would not say to your face, and when Glen Pearson (@iamstillmanic) asked if he would really tell Stalin he is a piece of shit, Gomez asked why he would lie to Stalin. Jeff Dye, in a separate post, says people get aggressive whenever he posts anything Christian, and that scripture told him he would be mocked for his faith and not to be ashamed.
I’m not attacking Jesus. I’m making the point that very often when somebody says something shitty and bigoted to me, I click on their profile and they claim to be Christian.
Why would I lie to Stalin?
Every time I post anything remotely Christian online people are so aggressive. It’s okay though…. It says in the scripture that we will be mocked for our faith but do NOT be ashamed!
